Under 11 2010/11
Dear parents ,
Just a note to inform you of some of the changes for the forthcoming season 2010/11
Main Changes - Playing
•The under 11s will consist of 12 players, 5 forwards and 7 backs.
•The size of the playing field will be larger - playing between 22 meters of each side of the field .
Administrative Changes
I've decided to use the 'Teamer' http://www.teamer.net/ system to contact parents this year. This is an automated system that generates text message to mobile phones as well as email. I have used this system this summer with North West Wales under 13 team and is very effective and successful system.
I will also provide any news on the web site http://pwllhelis.blogspot.com/ and http://pwllheli.blogspot.com/ in welsh
Neither the club nor coaches can take responsibility for any changes to the structure of the season, which games are cancelled etc. It is the parents responsibility to confirm with the team manager about any issue, if they do not understand what is happening.
The team manager will have responsibility to pass on any information to parents.
Parents can contact any coach or the team manager with regards to their child.
Changes Coaching / Management
I am to continue coaching and Dafydd Myrddin will assist me when he is available . Main aim of Dafydd will be to raise the level of specific skills that the children require.
Eifion Owen - referee
By September a formal grievance/complaints policy will be introduced by the club together with an independent appeal process. This will protect the interests of children as well as coaches. Parents, children and coaches are also expected to follow the WRU code of conduct (WRU Pathway)
The club will also develop a constitution for the junior section (rules governing the administration) which has been modeled on Welsh Rugby Union's suggestions .
Sorry regarding the length of this message, but it is important to note that everything is in place to ensure a positive start to the new season . I sincerely hope that the arrangements/framework put in place will facilitate the way that the club communicates with parents.
Thanks for your support.
